🌐 Overview

Welcome to the Country Coverage hub — your passport to everything we support per destination country across our products. This section explains what’s possible today, what information you’ll need to send, and the guardrails (like limits and decimal rules) you should expect when moving money.

What you’ll find for each country

  • Payment rails and account types we support (for example: MOBILE_MONEY and BANK_ACCOUNT)
  • Operators and banks available in that market (mobile money providers, and a link to the live bank list)
  • Lookup vs Payout: which identifiers we can validate before sending, and which rails support payouts
  • Amount precision and decimal rules (whether the rail accepts cents/decimals, or whole currency units only)
  • Transaction limits (per-transaction minimums and maximums in local currency)
  • Sender requirements (KYC fields the sender must provide)
  • Recipient requirements (what’s needed about the receiving party, if applicable to that rail)
  • Country‑specific notes and quirks (things like operator-specific behavior, identifiers, or formatting)

How these pages are organized

  • Overview (you’re here): high-level guide to how to read country pages
  • Continents: start from a continent page (for example, Africa) to pick a country
  • Country index page: a quick intro for that country
  • Child pages per country:
    • Payout : rails, limits, decimals, and sender/recipient requirements for sending, related to the Payout resource
    • Lookup : what you can validate up-front, related to the Lookup resource

Quick tips and gotchas

  • Local currency first: all limits are in the destination’s local currency, using the country’s standard numbering
  • Decimals: “–” in the Decimals Allowed column means the rail expects whole currency units (no fractional cents)
  • Dynamic bank lists: supported banks can change — always fetch the latest list via the List Banks endpoint
  • Limits can vary: providers and compliance rules evolve; consult the country page and handle API limit errors gracefully
  • Name and ID matching: some rails validate names and national IDs; exact-match rules may vary by operator
